A Message to Himanuta and Its Lawyer, Avi Segal: From One of the Most Powerful Companies to the Weakest Lawyer in Jerusalem? You Asked the Court to Impose a Financial Barrier of Half a Million Shekels on Us, but You Forgot One Thing: Money Does Not Create Rights, Connections Cannot Buy Justice, and No Amount of Economic Power Can Guarantee Victory in Court!
In my legal battle against Himanuta, one of the most powerful companies operating in Judea and Samaria, and its lawyer, Avi Segal, I have chosen to stand on my own, without legal representation, and fight for my rights, relying on the law, documents, and evidence.
When a person does not possess the economic power of the opposing party but believes in the justice of their case, the real test is not how much money they have, but how firmly they are prepared to stand up for their rights.
As part of the legal proceedings, a request was submitted to require us to deposit financial security of 500,000 NIS as a condition for continuing the case.
Half a million shekels!
An amount that could create an enormous financial barrier for someone seeking to exercise their right to access the courts and present their case.
But this is precisely where the difference becomes clear: some seek to strengthen their position through exorbitant financial demands, while others insist that disputes must be resolved according to the law, the evidence, and justice.
To Avi Segal and the management of Himanuta, my message is clear:
The courts are where justice must prevail, but the way a person chooses to fight their battle also says a great deal. You may represent one of the most powerful companies and possess extensive legal expertise and substantial resources, but neither a name, nor status, nor economic power guarantees victory.
I am not looking for connections, shortcuts, or victories that can be bought. I am asking for one thing only: that our rights be examined according to the law, not according to the size of our pockets.
Some choose the path of pressure and financial barriers. Others choose the path of truth, evidence, the law, and faith in the justice of their cause.
Ultimately, it is not only about whether you win, but also about the means you choose to achieve that victory.
And this time, the message is simple: Not every battle can be won with money!
To everyone who believes that power, status, or connections guarantee the outcome, I say this: justice is not for sale, our rights are not for sale, and no one should have to surrender their rights simply because they cannot afford to deposit half a million shekels with the court.
Avi Segal and Himanuta, time will reveal how this battle ends. As for us, we will continue to defend our rights, challenge the opposing claims, and fight using every lawful means available to us.
This time, the story is not about money. It is about rights, the law, and the path we choose to follow.
Justice is not for sale. Our rights are not for sale. And our fight is far from over!
